Welcome! International Exposition Center is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website.
Our visitors’ privacy is important to us, and we recognize the need to provide additional privacy protection for children on the I-X Center Sites permitting such visitors. Our privacy practices are guided by the United States’ Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, as well as data privacy laws in the United States and other applicable countries. Younger visitors should always check with their parents or guardians before entering information on any website or mobile application and we encourage families to discuss their household guidelines regarding the online sharing of personal information.
What information do we collect?
This site recognizes and collects, when possible, the domain name of a visitor’s server (for example, ixcenter.com or ixamusementpark.com).
- Information that you actively give to us (for example, during registration, sweepstakes, purchases or content submissions)
- Information we automatically collect about your computer or wireless devices (such as your IP address, cookie ID, and other unique device identifiers)
- Information we collect from third parties, including through your registered third-party social media providers.
How do we store the information we collect?
We store your information using reasonable security precautions and for only as long as we think reasonably necessary. Despite such precautions, there is always a chance that someone may impermissibly access your information. If you think a third party has accessed your information, please contact us immediately as instructed below. Please note that our forms are NOT encrypted unless otherwise noted. Therefore, people who are actively snooping on Internet traffic may read information you send us. But once the information is sent to our site, it is kept in secure databases where it is not available to users on the Internet. Examples of how you might provide us with information about you include:
- E-mailing us with a comment or question
- Subscribing to our e-mail notification service
- Completing a survey or feedback form
How do we use the information we collect?
The I-X Center Corporation does not sell, trade or rent personal information about its website visitors. The information we collect about the domain name of the server from which you are visiting is aggregated and used solely to determine the number of visitors to our site each day, and sources of traffic.
E-mail addresses provided by visitors are used to respond to comments submitted through our feedback and surveys forms, when indicated. E-mail addresses provided when subscribing to e-mail bulletins are used to distribute the bulletins via e-mail to subscribers. If a website visitor asks us to send material that cannot be transmitted electronically, we will need to know the visitor’s name, e-mail address and mailing address. We will use that information only to fulfill the visitor’s request. Website visitors who complete a website survey and indicate a willingness to participate in future surveys are asked to provide their name, e-mail address and telephone number. That information may be shared with carefully screened market research firms with which we have a business relationship.
Depending upon the circumstances, we may share collected information with (a) law enforcement or others as needed to protect or defend our rights and the rights of others; (b) third parties we hire to handle certain activities; (c) advertisers or third parties with whom we may partner to provide you additional content, products or services; (d) business partners who sponsor a sweepstakes or contest or who jointly offer a service or feature on the I-X Center Sites; (e) in the event of a corporate transaction; and (f) otherwise with your consent.
